I’ve been able to print extensively with this PLA and experienced very few issues, even during long, near-continuous print sessions. I ran my printer almost nonstop when I first received it, especially because the color set—blue, red, white, and black—perfectly matched Buffalo Bills colors, which made it ideal for printing custom figurines as gifts, including large personalized “brick man” figures. The overall print quality has been excellent, with clean details and consistent results. The filament performs well across a flexible temperature range, adhering reliably to both heated PLA plates and cooler build plates. I noticed no stringing at all, which I attribute in part to keeping the filament very dry using an AMS dryer. One important thing to be aware of is the use of cardboard spools, which many users are already familiar with. Once the spool is about halfway used, it can feed less smoothly in an AMS system. This is easily solved by printing spool edge adapters to give the AMS a smooth surface to grip, or by respooling the filament onto a plastic spool. This was my first experience printing with PETG, and I decided to try this filament after wanting to move away from PLA for some time, especially when I saw the price drop to $9.99 per spool. For the cost, the value is excellent, and even at a few dollars more, I would still consider it a worthwhile purchase. After running basic calibrations and a few test prints, the filament performed reliably with no major printing issues, which made the transition to PETG much smoother than expected. My only initial concern was that the first spool arrived with some damage to the cardboard spool, even though the outer packaging was intact, which caused wobbling in my AMS system and required respooling onto a plastic spool. This may have been necessary regardless, as cardboard spools can sometimes be problematic in AMS setups. After ordering a second spool, I did not experience the same issue, confirming that the damaged spool was likely a one-off quality control problem. The filament quality itself was consistent across both spools, with stable printing and predictable results. Overall, this has been a great PETG experience and a strong value product that I will definitely continue buying in the future.

I’ve been an Elegoo fan for many years, ever since purchasing my Mars 2 Pro, and the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K has easily become the best 3D printer I’ve ever owned. The overall ease of use and the many quality-of-life upgrades built into this model make a noticeable difference in everyday printing. Being able to monitor prints directly from my PC, complete with a live camera feed, adds a level of convenience I didn’t realize I was missing. The companion app is equally impressive, allowing me to check print status remotely from my phone at any time. This machine has been a complete game changer for my workflow and streamlined my post-processing far more than I expected. I previously washed parts by hand with IPA and used a separate curing unit, but this station dramatically reduced clutter and simplified the entire process. Being able to hang the build plate directly in the wash basket is a huge advantage, allowing prints to clean while I drain and strain resin back into the bottle without worrying about drips on the LCD. By the time the wash finishes, I can remove the print, clean the build plate, and immediately start the next job, which saves a surprising amount of time. The large sealed wash container, tidy storage design, safety features, and clean touchscreen controls make the overall experience efficient and pleasant. My only real caution is to double-check that the machine is set to cure mode before starting, but aside from that small learning moment, this unit has been an outstanding upgrade that I would confidently recommend to anyone looking to simplify their resin printing workflow.
